**NEW Attendance Time**

For the 2014-2015 school year, the official attendance time for Venus Elementary will be 9:30am.  In past years, the attendance time was at 10am.  In order for your student to be counted present for the day, they will need to be in class at the 9:30am attendance time.  Any student not in class at that time will be counted absent and will need to supply the attendance clerk with a doctor's note in order to receive an excused absence.  
The school hours will remain the same as in the past.  The doors will open at 7:15 for early car riders.  Breakfast is served beginning at 7:30am and classes will begin at 8:00am.   In the afternoons, car riders will be dismissed at 3:25pm and buses will arrive shortly after that.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office!
